My name is Rick and I'm a resident of downtown West Palm Beach.

One of the things that I love about living here is that it's one of the few areas in all of South Florida where you can live comfortably in an urban environment. By that I mean the small, local area offers all of the goods and serves that you need on a daily basis, and you don't have to constantly use your car to drive all over the place.

Among these offerings are restaurants, bars, and entertainment, which downtown West Palm Beach has in abundance. And with the year-long pleasant weather, it's wonderful to just step out of your front door and take a relaxing walk to explore the many options.

Well, I've been exploring and documenting these options for about a year now, so I thought I'd take my notes and publish them on the web, so that anyone visiting our area or thinking of relocating here will have an online resource to help wade through the sea of choices.
